Warranty
Every container is sold to a stated grade. The warranty covers defects that mean the container did not meet that grade when it arrived. Coverage periods depend on the grade and are stated in your order confirmation.

What is covered
- Leaks through the roof, walls, floor or door seals present at delivery
- Doors or locking bars that do not open, close or lock as delivered
- Structural defects present at delivery, such as cracked corner posts or failed welds
- A container that does not match the size, type or grade ordered
What is not covered
- Normal wear, surface rust, dents and paint marks consistent with the grade
- Damage after delivery, including from vehicles, forklifts, storms or vandalism
- Condensation inside the container, which depends on ventilation and what is stored
- Rust or rot caused by standing water or a poor base
- Changes made by anyone other than us or our modification partners
- Goods stored inside the container

Record the problem
Take clear photos and, for leaks, a short video. Note when you first saw the issue.

Assessment
A specialist reviews the claim and may arrange an inspection. We reply within 2 business days.
Resolution
We repair the defect, replace the container or refund, depending on the issue and the terms of your order.
Keep your container in good shape
- Keep the container on a level, dry base so the doors stay square and the floor stays clear of water.
- Grease door hinges and locking bars every few months.
- Clear leaves and standing water from the roof, especially after storms.
- Touch up scratches and rust spots with a marine-grade primer and paint.
- Add vents or moisture absorbers if you store paper, fabric or tools.
- Check door seals once a year and replace any that are cracked.
